Who they are

Allan Hoggarth is a sole trader operating as AJH Group, a plant hire and construction company providing landscaping, building and maintenance services. 

The company, which is based on the Wilton International site, in Redcar, has also supplied machinery and equipment to large projects around the region since 2017.

What they needed

Allan was looking for funding to buy some machinery that would allow AJH to offer a wider range of services. He heard of us through word of mouth thanks to our existing network of contacts,

What we did

We secured nearly £50,000 funding from a Tees Valley growth fund.

What will it be spent on

The funding has been used as part-payment for a £90,000 bulldozer – the rest was funded by AJH.

The new equipment will allow the firm to offer extra services, such as excavating, trimming and levelling areas, providing clients with a better all-round package.

It has also led to the recruitment of five new roles – doubling the existing workforce.
